I tried doing some searches, to no avail. What is the stock boost for these cars? Also, what's the top speed? Is it limited by gearing, the computer, or power? I don't plan on testing it myself, I was just curious. But I am also wondering how much boost I can run on the bone stock engine with a MBC using 91 octane fuel without breaking anything. Would I need to get a silicone hose kit to run, say, 14psi? Also, what are some free mods for these cars? TB bypasses? MAF descreening without screwing up driveability (I know MAF descreens on LT1 f bodies give you 0 horsepower and crappy driveability, since the computer is programmed to work with a screen and cannot adjust to the absense of one)? How does the stock AWD system hold up to 250-280hp? I am also thinking about getting a blowoff valve, the ricer in me likes the sound
I'm still pretty new to the whole Volvo thing. Just got my '98 V70 AWD about 3 weeks ago and after I do some basic things like plugs/wires/rear main seal/fuel filter (if it's clogged) I want to start running a bit more boost and doing some intake/exhaust mods. Thanks |

nope, it's not a T5. i'm going to keep the suspension stock for a while, not like i road race. i have another car for that kind of thing. no ecu reprogramming either, that is out of the question. i would just like to get it into the 14s and surprise some people at the track
