M90 short shifter- is there such a thing?

Or do I have to make one whilst my 940's having its winter round of modifications?

If it's the latter, does anyone have a spare lever?

Yes, M90 short shifters exist. I just don?t remeber who sold them.

But you can make one pretty easy.

Yeah, just extend the lever below the pivot. The million dollar question is " how much"?
As much as possible without having to use two arms to shift...?

That is the way I would have done it (and will do it once I get my gearbox).

1cm, or more precisely, 10mm. :-P

That's how much my shifter is extended.

Tried that with Tina's Hyundai- it made not a lot of difference.

However, since I've benn told by Morley I shall take his word and extend my lever by this much.

On your head be it, Audun.....................:-P

We made a short shifter on my friends Audi A4 (FWD) and we extended it by 10-15mm and that made a huge difference. The total length and length on both sides of the pivot point is very similar to the M90 so I think that it will be a great improvement.

Bling-bling! Now in USA, made in Sweden, altered in Norway!

(It's a M45 shifter I re-welded for Homer. It's the same size as my Sellholm shifter now.)
