wow, thats wicked.

Turbobricks leading the way with quality innovation. Is this the first whiteblock RWD setup, actually I think the POI's 900 wagon is whiteblock RWD right?

There was a 145 in Ontario Canada that had a white block with M46 years ago. Probably 5 years ago now...

Default wheels

The wheels are Borbet TD's 18x8...I have one complete set and a second partial set one of the wheels was damaged beyond repair.

don't do anything on account of me.

The Evo is SO comfortable...but doesn't flip forward...unless you make them pivot somewhere (?). I think Dana has a Torino passenger seat, and I didn't like it that much. The bottom is just kind of hard and flat. OK for a passenger seat though.

If you mean Chris' smashed wheel, I showed it to someone at Ye Olde Wheel shop and the answer was basically "maybe" it could be repaired, and it wouldn't be "right."

Default seats wheels

The Evos are nice but making them pivot would be somewhat time consuming and time is something I dont have much of. Im leaning towards the Sparco Torinos because I NEED seats that tilt for acces to the rear of the car. As far as the damaged wheel is concerned I have a plan for what I want to do with it.

Default wheels

Dropped my wheels off today at a place called Transwheel www.transwheel.com not far from where I live. The wheels will be powder coated bronze in the center with a machined lip. These people do amazing work and I found out that they do work for many of the local wheel shops that I thought did the wheels "in-house. I'll try to get Ben to post some before and after pics.

Not here, but it's been done. I think someone posted this German tuner built S60 Race car, that had a b230FT and was RWD.

AFAIK most all Volvos have a driveshaft tunnel running down them. The exhaust rides it at the begining, where the transmission would normally be.

It is doable. There's also that XC90 someone just posted that was turned into a RWD.

Default fun with brakes

As a matter of fact yes. I'm going to run the 240 strut adapters like the ones I did for my brother Todds 940 wagon. This will allow me to run the S-60R brakes up front initially but over time I'd like to install the Stoptech setup.

aaaah, for the front, to show off the coilovers and brakes. For a moment I got excited about the IRS, because that's where the wheel is in the pic. Still awesome. I can't wait to see it in it's first stage of completion!

What are you doing with the chunk of smashed wheel? Can we clean it up, hang it from a chain, and present it to Chris?
