Well this was I was looking for, it popped off when i did this. Leak test did not show smoke so i am baffled.
All codes are gone and the car runs strong again..
Still hard to believe this..
I can manage to keep the car running with AMM connected if when i start the car up cold rev it up and down for some minutes (it wont go over 4K though) for a while till the engine get sort of warm. I can drive it around and when park and restart the car it will trow the 1300 and 6814 and engine...
It will run with the AMM connected cold good, then after a few min it will start to gasp for air and die within a few minutes. After that restart is not possible.
So not able to do wo drive cycles with the amm connected :(

the car keeps trowing ECM-1300 & ECM-6814 codes.
Since that time i:
Replaced the airmass meter twice (one junkyard Bosch and one new sensor from Pierburg)
Replaced the turbo pressure sensor (Bosch 0261230 090)
Turbo pressure regulator Pierburg
Smoke tested all the hoses of the intercooler and...
Yeah thats my idea too but what are the odds the used but tested AMM at Volvo specialist is broken too... while i am typing this i am sort of giving myself the answer :cautious:
While driving my upper airbox (from the airfilter) cracked (it has been patched up so no surprise) and the car stalled.
Was not far from home so unhooked the Airmass meter and drove it home, no i have replaced the upper airbox but the problem stayed.
The moment i plug in the Airmass meter it...

The <05 models are a bit different i have come to learn hence my question.

In my 2004 Volvo XC90 T6 Executive full option (RTI, Premium radio and dvd in the headrests) I have been having some radio issues. I have installed the GROM unit maybe a year ago and I was fine with that setup however the radio kept going on and off, or sometimes when off make horrible high...
Found it, and finally passed inspection too.
That hose goes from the airfilter pipe to the hose on the intake manifold, it was hidden in the middle pushed all the way back.
I think the reason many people get lost is when the take of the intake manifold it pops off without notice.

I saw online several people asking the same and saw that other people had one end vent to atomosphere..
