Finished the second headgasket job on my 245 turbo, LH2.2 EZK. Last ran Friday. Didn't touch the ignition system other than moving the plug wires out of the way, now no spark. Both wires to the coil go to ground. Fuses are fine.

:wtf:

One wire on the coil should go to 12V swtiched power from the ignition key. The other wire on the coil in LH2.2 ezk goes to the power stage. Usual culprits in this ezk are the hall sensor failing or the wiring to it, and the power stage. Both wires going to ground seems like there is a fail like in the power stage. It should hold ground then open the circuit when switched to create a spark with the coil. The primary side
+ to - of the coil is low resistance so you would measure this short on both wires on the coil.

You can check the power stage by looking at the input wire from the ecu for a switching signal when cranking. Using a low power test light or meter and back probe the connection under cranking. If it switches and you have no spark the power stage is bad.
