new wheels for the 940...front will be lowered soon. <500 miles away from 250k!

OK, so this is a 780 with a 960 front on it, right?

http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d1...t/IMG_4282.jpg

But this is less obvious. Is it a 940 with a 2-door conversion, or a 780 that's copped a 900 face (and bum) lift? Or something else?

Europe. And good luck getting a vendor over there to respond to an American  IPD... are you listening??

84 Blue 240 11-03-2009 02:29 PM

I'd take a set of sways available from IPD before anything else!

It's a 944 converted to a 942 with a 960 front end.

Spac 11-03-2009 07:17 PM

Cool, thanks.

The green 942 is very cool, although I'm not a fan of the flared guards (I think they make it too "boy racer" / Fast and Furious).

Its beyond my capabilities (and budget!), but I really like the idea of a nice, factory looking 942 with IRS, some factory 17s and a 16V+T - something that was easy to get along with, but much faster... And the general population would think was a stocker...

You can try contacting REALCAR in Norway (http://www.realcar.no) or Sweden (http://www.realcar.se).
They have a lot of styling for Volvo, including roofspoiler for the 944.

You can find the roofspoiler under:
Volvo --> 900 --> vinge tuning - Realcar Volvo 944/964 Dynamic Roofspoiler

84 Blue 240 11-04-2009 02:55 PM

Most of the posted cars made my throw up in my mouth a lot.

Thanks.. I guess I could blow my money on something worse, right :) ? IPD -- We could easily round up 20 or so folks that'd like a roof spoiler (I believe you offer one in your catalog for our FWD friends).. Oh, and how about some of the rims posted by Even.j ...

volvo940tuner 11-04-2009 05:15 PM

I thought the same thing.. I think they're just Eikers painted titanium with a very low profile tire.

Chris_R 11-04-2009 05:22 PM

Definitely wider than stock Polaris/Eikers.

KILLER RABBIT 11-04-2009 06:23 PM

some nice cars in here.

They're Eikers, Polaris's have a little rim around the lip. And those are most definately widened, not just low profile tires.
