Friend sent me pictures, dunno where he got them, car is I guess in Poland, coilovers and Brembos all around, interesting part is ABZ engine, supposed to be biturbo in the spring...

JW240 10-25-2015 05:19 AM

Nice swap! Seems to be a nice engine.

turbotankshane 10-25-2015 11:15 AM

Is that the s4 engine?

i'm pretty sure it's an older version of the 4.2 found in the A8 since it has a timing belt and the S4 with the V8 had the chain.

Curt_pnw 11-09-2015 01:06 AM

Man that thing has to be a hoot. Looks pretty stock with those steelies too.

petiww 11-17-2015 09:53 PM

I don't know whose car is this and if it was ever posted here but I love how it sits and rolls on those Hydras. Huge inspiration how I want mine:

Who knows what size tyres it has? My bet is 225/50R16.

amerbritcan 11-17-2015 10:36 PM

Oof yeah.

Tuff240 11-18-2015 12:36 AM

Those kind of look like Draco's to me. Hydra's don't have a lip like that.

JW240 11-18-2015 04:54 AM

Very nice 244, just perfect ride height and very good picture.

Great inspiration for my 242. No fan of the wheels though

Nice.
Agree on the wheels. BBS RSII's would look perfect.

Råda 02-21-2016 11:58 AM

Stolen from Pat D on facebook. Pretty perfect wagon!

That's Mark/BrnBrik. Dunno what size was on the Hydras. It wound up on GTAs later in life.

It's since been parted. Just a shell, awaiting someone to show up with $100.

AndrewNance 02-24-2016 04:42 PM

It was always on 205/50 NeoGens I do believe.

 It is. Good enough for a first daily driver for my kid though.

amerbritcan 02-24-2016 10:43 PM

Now I'm super jealous of your kid. I had a Scotia blue '83 with those taillights and big ecodes stolen out of my garage after I'd put months of work into it. I really miss it.

Tuff240 02-24-2016 11:22 PM

We have e-code TV screens for it too. Need to refurb them first though. I got them cheaply all dis-assembled.
Those pics are from while we were still cleaning up all the trim and stuff. You can see the wipers and window scrapers aren't on in those pics.
