If you are building a drift car, nope don't need it. Strictly a style thing.

this is not always true.

As silly as it may seem to you, high power, and skid cars that are traveling at high speeds absolutely would need a rear wing. You need a fair amount of rear grip while drifting, even if that sounds wrong.

Also what i have witnessed with my own eyes when i was helping a few mates competing in British Drit Championship, the BGW (Big Gay Wing) was a really big improvement when the car was going sideways with alot of speed, and how it was able to come back straight with so much less help from the driver...

RWturbo's car - been in his family since new. B230FT conversion, 3" turbo back, full suspension + more. It was as fast as my 850R. Ronnie doesn't bring it out much though.

I've noticed wings that mount to the trunk flex the trunk like crazy, isn't proper mount of gt style wings to the frame or something a lot more sturdy

Nope, not since almost a year ago. I guess the owner's been busy.

Not sure if it was answered, but it looks like my original paint color on my 92 240gl sedan (US).
I assume its the "Graphite Metallic" Volvo paint.

*edit* Wow, i just noticed how old that question was hahaha

Guy in sacramento. Was owned by another member in sacramento since the early 2000s and sold a few years ago. It's looking quite nice these days. I will buy it if it ever comes back up for sale.

Tuff240 01-23-2015 05:46 AM

Yep yep

MrBrown 01-23-2015 09:15 AM

I've never seen anyone use the 0 offset in the front and not in the rear. Doesn't look bad though.
