Fixed the timing belt issues for good, by not paying attention to the spring-loaded tensioner alignment marks. Put a new timing gear in.

It still smoked after sustained boost, so the turbo came...

Having it advanced so much could make it a dog off the line. The converter stall is way too tight as well. If anything, the auto trans should work better than a manual in terms of getting the turbo...

90+ and adapter is not great either, but works well enough for 400 whp

The ipd cam wants to be 3-4 degrees behind straight up. Real tdc on it is at 1mm lift at crank TDC. Bet you pick up power everywhere that way rather than just shifting the powerband around.

I used 3M headliner adhesive on the BMW recently....

I used 3M headliner adhesive on the BMW recently. Seems to work nicely with fairly absorbent cloth and did not cause any staining.
