Does the position of ATE caliper pistons matter?

Taking apart the rear ATE pistons and replacing the seals. Does the position of the piston matter? The top edge of the piston that presses the brake pads together is not flat all the way around.

I agree. Dont cheap out on the other available filters. They leak. Magnefine is the only way to go for peace of mind once you put in a rebuilt steering rack. Not a fun job to do in a parking lot!
