throttle switch

If there is dirt or carbon on this switch it can cause surging. I cleaned mine after buying the car and the problem went away

I added some pics of the finish fabbing. Trial and error has shown I will have to make some changes on the final install. the carbs are syched and it is drivable to see if the Mikunis will work...

Happy with the VW rocker shims

The VW shims come with 4 thicknesses of shims, 4 each. They were less than 20 dollars and the approx .035 shims were just right to get the valve geometry right and give me plenty of adjustment.
