My 242 had a noisy main pump, and I swapped in a new one... still noisy.

The thing that fixed it was upgrading the intank pump to the 740 turbo spec unit. The stock new intank 240 kjet pump...

not without spacers, a low offset wheel + lots of dish does not give much caliper clearance.

the only way it would conceivably work would be if the wheel spokes were arced.

I dont think bell housing alignment will cause a vibration. It certainly could cause your trans or engine to be ruined in short order but not a vibration.

I had that problem on my 960 and then the trans died... The radiator / auto trans cooler was leaking coolant into the transmission. Check your trans fluid for signs of water / antifreeze.

With a VX cam and regular port work you wont notice the difference with .007" extra lift and you lose any margin for error before you get too...

Id avoid the 305 vs the 302. They are super heavy.

The best extreme budget bet for a lemons car is a g80 with the weight welded in place. That shaft can break if you cut the weight so its better just to reinforce it.
