Anybody replaced one rear girling caliper with the newer type while running the old type on the other side? need to grab my caliper from the workshop but the spacer looks slightly different in size...

rear girling calipers, different pistons?
volvo 244, 1982: I have 1 left and 1 right rear girling brake caliper. I JUST noticed the pistons are a different style. Does anybody have any insight if these can be used in parallel or if one side...

I hope I don't get flamed here. I got a ronak motor off amazon shipped for free for $35 with a coupon. I opened it up and checked for anything loose and it seems good. Hermetically sealed it back up....
