typically no... fixed flange uses a gasket and loose flange uses the donut and you don't normally mix the two types... but that looks like it might hold

the clutch coil has failed, you can just replace the coil if you can find one. You can change them out and the compressor can stay right where it's at too

when it's working it keeps the full pressure from the pump to the injectors
when it's not working takes a way long time to start but then runs fine

I was able to get the slide key and wire spring...

I was able to get the slide key and wire spring back into place WITHOUT taking the thing apart.
It took about 3 hours and was tedious but it can be done! Good luck!
