Late to the game but I put the IPD sport springs on my 80 GT years ago and they were great.

Couple that with sway bars and Bilsteins and the car was like a slot car.

Looks pretty cool too.

Had a similar issue with my IPD exhaust (and an O2 sensor bung that was too far back for the wires to reach) - I was a bit annoyed but when all was said and done I'm pleased with the product overall.

I just cut off the cat flange and put the 2.5 pipe onto the end of the oem pipe (my guy welded it but I'd recommend using a clamp instead).

No disagreement on the 2.5 vs 2.25 - I had bigger plans...
