I may have had the wires backwards. I switched them. The oil pressure light is normal. The gauge is still pegged at 5 bar.

Changed coolant hoses. Oil pressure light stays on. 1983 245 turbo.

The two wires seem to be connected to the sensor. The oil pressure gauge is pegged. Any ideas here. It was always fine. Until I dropped a wrench on the sensor and it sparked.

I have a 1992 745 Turbo. I went to NAPA to find an all metal replacement. The employee helping me asked if vacuum oped or shut the valve. I do not know. Do you know? Thanks.

Not yet, still have a list of things to deal with in this and on others in my fleet. If you still have them towards spring/ summer though it might be tempting though the roads in Eugene are so bad!
