We've mentioned running a redundant ground cable. You can do the same for the positive side. Use a set of jumper cables.

The proper way to test cables is a voltage drop test. Look it up.

You gotta drag test the terminals with the proper test probe, or make a probe made from an old component. I'd resistance test and voltage drop test the circuit. If it tests good try another ECU.

Sub 2 second 60ft is good, but that is with drag radials. 9.4 second 1/8th seems slow. I was doing that with just a 15G on street tires and some boost at about high 70's MPH with mid-2 second 60ft.
