The bulb gets a constant 12v from the cluster, at least on a 7. The 2.4 box supplies a ground to turn the light on.

Nope, 2.4 runs 3b, turbo or NA. Only certain 2.2 cars had the 2.5b reg.

The whites seem to run better than the normal 804 or 357 greens as well. 4-hole instead of pintle's.
