Being able to change the # of poles is really neat, especially if you can reduce back EMF at higher speeds.

You also need to shim the PP ~ 1.2mm with some washers, it's pretty darn easy to do. I think I used some 5/16"...

Yeah, it's for the 8v heads. I also have a setup for 16v heads too, but most people don't need it.

Valve spring forces are much lower when you're not moving a pushrod and rocker arm around too :)...
