Im sure they degrade over the 40 hrs. The 3rd weekend is always not as crisp as the first but we have so much grip for the car that even a worn 255 still has more grip than most of our competitors...

We get about 40 hrs of track time on the front RS4 tires on our 850 endurance racer.
255 40 17 on a 17x9.

FWD so it puts extra stress on them.

The only difference is the sensor on the spindles. all the other geometry is the same. Pretty much any replacement hub will probably come with an ABS ring.

Dont forget to preventatively change all the coolant hoses with the same interval as the timing belt. No coolant level sensor on these cars and the hoses are known to fail at the junctions.

Doubt he has nivos, pretty rare in the US to come across them. They were more of a standard thing in Europe... They might have come on these cars if they were equipped with a tow package.
