The .035" valve lift values are the 0.050" cam lift values. The difference being the 0.015" shim gap.

For OP - are you sure about the 4 crank retard per 0.040" of head decking? I thought I'd figured this out as roughly 1mm of decking per 1 of cam rotation, or 2 of crank rotation, but my back-of-the-envelope scribbles may have been wrong.
