Kaplhenke Strut Mounts - Luxe Steer or No?

85 240 wagon, strut mounts are shot in the typical fashion - looking to replace them with the new version of the Kaplhenke strut mounts. Car has stock springs and Bilstein HD's, what's the consensus on Luxe Steer from anyone who's done a similar setup, is it needed or will it ride alright with a straight swap?

If you can afford it. The Luxe steering is the way to go. You will reduce the effort for turning the strut. That will help things like the bearing in the mount and your ball joints last longer.

As above, if you can swing them, buy them.

Thanks for the input, bit the bullet on the full monty. Can't wait to have struts that aren't groaning and binding, long past due.
