Newbie Factory Wheel Guide...OMG its huge SORRY! nf56k!!!!!!

Does anybody know if the width of the Virgo wheels is different at all?

I might be able to get a solid set of four for south of $300 and was trying to figure this out.

Thanks, and sorry if it's a dumb question.

I can't see the Nebula...

It's love.

Amen!

Does anybody recognize this wheel?

volvo18X8.jpg

similar to the otrera & xenia but they look too small and its hard to tell if they have a sunken centre or not

The Nebula looks to be the right size but the forks are different.

I have been told it is a volvo wheel. 18X8.

Will confirm when i get the part number and let yeall know

TONS of pictures and info on newer Volvo wheels and accessories. I was gonna re-upload them all and put them here, but there are so many and it's all easy to find here.

alloy wheels are under "sport, styling" after you select a model. this is a euro site, so i am assuming many of these are euro only!

also, these are all the wheels listed by model currently on the US volvo cars site when you "build your model" Though, I doubt these are the only wheels available this year.

I just scrolled through this whole thread - I don't think you have these on your list (yet). I've only seen these on 1800ES's, and was once told that it was a Volvo accessory rim but never came as original equipment on any car. True?

I got more info from the 1800List on Yahoo. These were made by german wheel company ATS for Volvo. Very light - 12-13lbs. 15x5.5". Came out as a Volvo accessory rim in 74, really intended for 140's and 164's. Never came standard on any Volvo though.

Just to be 100% clear - the rim I have seen has "Volvo" cast into one spoke and a Volvo part # there too.

A very similar rim (Almost identical) was also sold by ATS as an aftermarket rim for Porsche's and VW's of that era.

I'm still trying to confirm what center caps it uses.

Volvo George had some correct NOS center caps he sold to the lady with the turquoise ES.
I will try to get a pix at Davis this year.

Here are the centercaps on different accessory wheels.

A little correction there Ken.

The ScorpiusX wheel is actually 14x6x15.

Weight is 12-13lbs. a piece.

Got it thanks Chopstick.

Yes please get photos & post them here, my brother has a couple of sets of these wheels & would love to see what the real center caps look like ...or get some!

This may help - from the 1800List on Yahoo:

"They take a common cap, 283605, which is not used on any other Volvo application."

Sorry - no picture - just the part #...

Where are the Tethys man??
My favorite! hah ha.
I never knew there were so many wheel selections, wow.

Proud to present pretty much the most dull Volvo rim design:

Never ever seen this kind on other car or photo...
Original, hell yeah (have volvo and all atributes stamped on the inside)
