![]() B21, B23,B230 block drain petcock's OEM Volvo adapter bushing is: 3/8-18 NPT. So if wanting to use another adapter for a Aftermarket 52mm WT gauge, you can mount the sender in the block drain location.
I have done this trick 3 times, but was never absolutely sure that the hole in the block was for a NPT bushing. Now I know it is a NPT, 3/8 -18 OEM adapter bushing and you do too.. Finally. |

![]() If you're talking about an LH2.4 engine (1990+?), you need the blank to be in the starter hole with number one piston at TDC.

![]() Just thought id throw this out there. I need to know the thread size on the one coolant pipe plug that comes on the 16v head by the temp sensors. Id like to assume it's 1/4" npt but I could be wrong, just need to be sure

![]() What's the thread size for an EGR thermostat valve in redblocks. It's the one below intake manifold and has two vacuum ports. It goes in to the head next to the temp sensors.
Thread is tapered so I would suspect NPT but if someone knows for sure.. |
