Inspiration -- 240 Style (DONT POST YOUR OWN)

Here is a pic that barely qualifies. I had to dig up a pic for these wheels that were recently stolen/returned to RSI. Though the car is nowhere near done, the look and fit of the wheel/tire combo is to die for IMO. Iirc, 18x10 CCW "race" Classics with Hoosier R6 305/35-18's.

What was done to get it to fit? I assume at least rolled fenders, but they don't look pulled?

is it just me, or do A LOT of 240's when still sit a tad leaned over to the driver side....(with no one in it) wtf... even mine is like that.

Every 240 I've had(quite a few) "sat unevenly" to some degree. Springs take a "set" when they get old.

Plus susp. bushings can compress at different rates too. Lots of suspension variables in a 20+ year old 240.

Keep in mind, improper/careless jacking procedures over the years, driven on exessively bad roads,wreck/s the car has been involved in, & maybe the fact they were that way to some extent when new.

Maybe we should try measuring ride height on new/late model cars to see how they compare?

None :-(
It's just a pic I stumbled across looking up Volvo 615 box truck stuff...lol.

Looks familiar - is that the IRS car we worked on Pat? Any idea if anything's happening with it?

Those wheels are indeed awesome.
