Well, last week I was prepping for Carlyle. Just finished adding the k24 and a custom rip.
She was looking good! Took her out on a 10 minute drive and the turbo oil feed line burst, causing total oil loss...in a mile I lost all my oil before realizing something was wrong. My motor seized...

The small hose I used to make my feed line failed. Boy was I ticked after hours of work! But I should've known better; oh well there's that 01 t5a at the local Lkq...
Last Saturday we went and grabbed it!

After 5 hours to pull it, 2 more to clean it I had the new heart ready!

After another 10 hours the new motor is prepped (new tbelt etc and rms), the stuck motor is ready to be pulled!

I missed Carlisle this year but hopefully I'll be able to swing it next year!

3 coils off the rear was a bit of a mistake obviously but whatever.

Bit of a complete ****box, 200k miles on it. Original tie rods judging by undercoating, good 2 inches of free play in the steering. Has piston slap at idle, more cable ties and jb weld than fasteners and steel.

Does the car have an oil pressure and/or an oil temp gauge? if not....might want to install both...

I see now what you were talking about a few months back...
Remember the pressure gauge thing; something about worm drive hoseclamps.
