For the last couple of years I've had a merc e430 running on LPG. It's been fun but wanted a Volvo again so picked up this

It's a stock s40 2.0t sport lux with a reasonably rare manual box

Long term plans suspension mods bushes etc. After much research and study I found it uses all the same parts as the mitsuibishi FTO

A local (more-less) guy had a 1.9 T4 S40 pushing around 450whp... Platform is shared with Mitsu Carisma, apparently Galant or was it Lancer 4WD rear end almost bolts on, he bought one and was about to make a T4 AWD, but gave up and gota 370Z. :)

i am tempted to do FTO swap for the suspesion, then it would be 5x114.3 PCD and can use evo brakes etc
