Yep, it ran.

Some old neighbors thought it was a headache and wanted to scrap it, so I offered to take it off their hands...

I've put a lot of money into it, just general stuff. This thing is all stock.

My 140...in 1994...$430 (guy's rent amount). Dad drove it home since I didn't have my license yet. Ran like crap, but it ran and drove.
My 745T...$600. Towed it home, had it running later that day, once a new valve spring was sourced. PO was told it was a blown HG.

No pic's of the 140 since that was long before digi cams were cheap. The 740, eh, just don't feel like posting.

The ones I currently run:
'81 244 - Paid $400 back in 1994, one owner car.

'90 244 - Paid $400 in 1999, two owner car. Bought it out of pity as it was crashed pretty badly.

'90 244 - Paid $150 this past February, running and inspected until Dec 2010 with a bum master cylinder. No picture, it looks just like every other dark blue 244!

I paid $2,750 for my old 940 turbo (completely and totally got ripped off, btw).

I paid $1,900 for my current 740 (good, fair price for what I got).

I paid $6000 for mine almost 10 years ago. Was semi worth it, 1991 744 Turbo that was showroom clean with 81k on it and a r134a swap, Little did I know the rear 1/4 on one side was bondo and the entire right front was replaced from a bad accident. Oh well I still love the damn thing.

Dad bought it new 100% financed in 1990. Has been in the family ever since and has been mine for almost ten years now. Hated it in high school but would never drive any other car now.
