Default Chris's 88 740 8v Turbo

Well i thought that i should make a thread cuz i never made one
I was Supposed to do this to my 2nd volvo which was a 87 740 with m46 and bunch of little bolt ons but body was in bad shape, I found a 88 740 turbo automagic for sale for 350 bucks from (turbo16psi) and i Stripped it Sold the Back seats and the Turbo and Trans
and i Bought a 95B230ft and Built it and 531 and had that worked, I WISH i would of listen to Kenny when He kept saying GO 16Valve it isnt that hard its worth it, But my Dumb ass didnt, But o well i hope on this Project i can Get this Car into the 11s and hope to make 500-550whp and we'll see And thanks to This Board it should be Possilble, Well Enough Talking
Here are the Specs, Then Pixz

95B230ft Wiseco Pistons 9.1cr, H-Beam Rods from SPM,Balanced Crank, motor has i think .032 Squish
531 Head 46/38 SS valves, Double Valve Springs,KG2t Cam, Mild Port Flows 200/140
Vibrant Intercooler
Equal Lenth Pulse Paired Header, With GT35R turbo, Str8 3inch Piping no CAT no MUFF
Haltech EMS E6X
T5 Trans, Spec Stg5 Clutch
Detroit Locker rear

I think thats about it

Cool project man, looks like a very clean shell to work with! If you make the suspension drag oriented, I see no reason why you wouldn't be able to get into the 10s with 500-550whp! Good luck, keep us all updated

the break in period won't last. The tranny will blow i'm sure of it

but the car will rip!!!!..I doubt you'll need race gas at 15-20psi if you tune it right.
