Damn, it's a very low oil pressure! I hope you'll find soon a block/solution to your issue!

I know. The 242 (which I haven't done anything at all yet) is going with 1.6 - 2.3...2.5. Thank you!
And I hope that you won't sell this car in this condition. Man up, find another block, do the basic maintenance and finally find a way to visit a dyno, because, I guess, I am not the only one here who's still curious how much power that thing is producing?

If the proposal from HansW can be done, this car'll not be selled... And about dyno, my buddy have found a good dyno shop here!

It means it can be possible to know the truth about my engine (tested also with a phone app called Perfect Power :280.6 HP and 38.6 Mkg. Tested before the tech inspection, with a rich issue past 5000 Rpm)!

well, here is an alternative--
http://cars.donedeal.ie/cars-for-sale/940-volvo/7999405
buy the thing and drive it to Lithuania or Switzerland-- that is a b230Fk + M90 + the very last spec.

Wait ... how dead?
That head was a thing of beauty, you did a good write-up about it, good work.

It's cracked badly, I think because of the hot spot due to HG failure...

I gave my opinion on that head even before it was modified-- does not surprise me, that its at the end of its life.

Not so much (it was not noticeable at the dash gauge), but enough to crack...

About pics, I'll post some ASAP

happens when overheating, I saw that before, but more so in air cooled engines. Looking forward to a few pics.
