Wow! I never heard Alpine sell cars in USA before '81... Are you sure about the year? One easy way to know it, you'll have a look at the wheels. If it's fixed with 3 bolts, it's a pre-'81...

But for sure, it was a great car!

Not for a while, I'll make some tests with both...because both are good, but in different area of the powerband.

If I find the results as I think, I'll ask a collegue to make me a mix of this 2 chips, to have what I need...

Back to 0° cam timing now ( because of the last modds I've done ) and it seem to be a lot better than before...I'll see in some kms...

I ordered right now the Forge double piston BOV, so I'll see if it can be a gain in engine response after shifting...!

And I've also put my cam +2 deg now, torque down low is much better, w/o too much loss at hi-revs...

So, back to straight up cam timing, definitly the best compromise for me...

And I can confirm this, the Forge double piston BOV is AMAZING!!! My car pulls stronger now ( it confirm my previous BOV was leaking... ), MPG is far better and it make a very nice " Tssschhhiiiiiiii " sound...

Yes, you're right, but I don't find any 012AMM for a normal price...so that's why I've to clean my engine! No other thing to do...
