240 2 air conditioning questions

Does anybody know how to disconnect the floor vents (there are rubber tabs on the levers) so the plastic can be removed to access the area behind the floor fuse box on the driver's side?

Does anybody know the exact order of the climate control vacuum tubes behind the center console? Some of mine got disconnected and I found some photos on the internet, but it is hard to tell how many there are in total or which one goes to the plastic tanks vs top vents...I think there are 5 hoses?

I can’t help with the hose routing, but as far as removing the vent panel is concerned there’s a metal pin that runs through the middle of the rubber knob, you can tap it out with a punch or grab it with a pair of needle nose pliers and pull it out.

diagram worked well...vacuum lines are verrrry short. also stupid plastic protector from ash tray! cut that thing off. not all of my lines were numbered or the numbering wore off
