![]() Installed - What a bitch putting the blanking plate on is without taking the turbo off...not a place for large hands that's for sure...
Sound is very subdued overall, just a short crisp "pshhit"...I like it...not a real attention getter with sound, but sure looks awesome. No weirdness in running either, no rich post let off, or tip in issues...whoot! Please excuse the dirty engine bay - Still haven't cleaned it after it sat for the winter... ![]() Untitled by buggabean, on Flickr ![]() Untitled by buggabean, on Flickr ![]() Untitled by buggabean, on Flickr |

![]() Managed to sneak in a few video's of the car - Apologies for the "handheld" nature and shake, but torque steer is a bitch with one hand/phone/shifting...
You can hear the BOV, it's nice, quiet...not a massive attention getter... Thanks again John! http://youtu.be/Cgodd6j5SG8 |

![]() Wow that sounds perfect. 3" exhaust eh? Yuummmmmm.
I'm currently trying to convince Meg to let me swap an M56 into the yellow, wish me luck. My auto is toast and I sorta don't want to go through all that work just to keep it auto! |

Negative on the full 3"...only DP is 3", the rest is the EST 2.5" As for the manual choice...there is no choice...but honestly, it's not "cheap"...the parts that you need to put in "new" aren't cheap...granted alot of the pieces can be used parts, there are some that must simply be new, and they cost a few $$...I think the standard going rate is maybe $900-$1500 for everything...?? Lots of articles on VS about it... But it's SOOO WORTH IT... ![]() ![]() |

![]() manual turbo 850's are too much fun. That BOV sounds great, as does the exhaust. Mine's got the tiniest exhaust leak, so it gets a bit snarly if my foot's in it when it hits boost. I'm in love with the sound of a force fed 5, yours is no exception. What's next for the car?

As for the car - I'll just be driving it for the summer, washing it often and enjoying it. When I garage it for the winter, I plan on doing mostly detail work inside and out as I'm more than happy with the power it now has, so it would be fun to paint/clean etc... I do however need a 3rd gauge...hmmm... thanks for the question, you got me motivated to start my list of what's next... 3rd gauge - oil or water temp fix passenger airbag dash cover replace PCV system - Original or catch can set up...tbd. Replace knock sensors Powder coat intake General "painting" of parts in the engine bay - plug cover, throttle cover, EST oil filler cap Fix Low fan speed code? Find Yellow upper engine mount bushing fix horns - Moved them, but only reinstalled 1 R brake upgrade for rears Pull rotors and "paint" inner hat - Brakes don't full sweep the inside of rotor so I'm getting rust more...
