Question KLRacing Steel Rods - Any good?

KLRacing steel rods (like this: https://shop.klracing.se/sv/artiklar...30-b234-2.html) are pretty cheap, including shipping.

Anybody here had a real experience with them that was good/bad/otherwise? I've heard rumors of issues, but no specifics.

I'd like to go crank steered (and longer rod!) for the piston weight savings, and these are far cheaper and more available than pretty much any other option.

Probably from the same factory as every other aftermarket rod for the B engines
