It appears that these threads have differing opinions on what brackets work, as there are many!

I need to install ac in my car in Colombia as it is hot AF here! My york compressor does not function.

I have found some used parts including a more modern compressor from a 940 that works

the mounts have part numbers:
volvo 1336938
volvo 1336937

they do not have a tensioner, or maybe it is somehwere in the dude's garage.

My alternator is on the right side. For now, all I need is to mount one of these on the left, find what bushings I am missing or can transfer over, and find the tensioner I guess it is missing.

I do not understand what user bobxyz is doing with the red plate and the new mount in this thread, that is the old york style accessory mounting plate.

What parts do I need to make adding this compressor to my b23 possible?

Sorry, not my clearest posting. I've rewritten it - OK now?

Ok, so I have that red mounting bracket from the original york compressor, same part number and all.

The guy above is saying make another mounting bracket?

In that photo and description you revised, you simply mounted the b230 ac bracket directly to the block? The red one doesn't matter anymore?

Yeah, because there is no such thing as a factory bracket to mount a Sanden compressor to a B21/23 block.

Yes, and yes. I checked, and the '89ish bracket in the picture is part # 1346612.

If you do this swap, you will also need to swap from the early 240 teardrop shaped Saginaw power steering pump to a later style pump, either the one with the remote reservoir or the later still version with the integrated reservoir.

I am verryyyy familiar with that, but there are hacks to adapt different mounts which is what I am asking

The best hack you could hope for without breaking **** is to take some measurements and build an adapter plate.

Get a 91+ bracket (or if you want to do things the better way, grab a 940 PS bracket, pump, reservoir, pressure lines, and alt/AC compressor brackets as it's a much better setup), and get a plate for the alternator and compressor to fit the B23.

Or save yourself the headache and just plonk a B230 block in there.
