Alternator a/c power steering brackets bushings?


Can anyone point me to some discussion or related info on the differences between the soft and hard rubber bushings?


In the past, i replaced with aftermarket urethane bushing. I haven't discovered much difference.
 
Unless you are buying the Volvo-boxed version, I doubt it matters in terms of comparative vibration damping, since the compound is likely different.

I've used whatever was available (463909 NOS, new 1378153, aftermarket unmarked), never had any qualitative difference in vibration/noise level from the associated rotating equipment.

how many bushings are there for the alternator of this variety, and how many bushings are there for the power steering pump when it is on the passenger side?
