81 242 drift toy

quick steer to me meant shortens the amount of turning on the steering wheels for more turn with the wheels. didn't know it allowed for more steering angle over stock though

Oh yeah bens stuff gives you crazy angle. It moves tie rod in like an inch. According to my terrible angle finder I have around 60* of angle.

You guys aren't realizing that whenever you move the tie rod closer to the strut, it is giving the tie rod less distance to travel the same amount. So the rack still travels the same amount but because the tie rod has less to travel it gets pushed out more, AKA more angle. That's why it's "quick steer" giving you less turns of the wheel to turn the same amount.

ok haven't updated much just been ficing odds an ends with the car and practicing with the car, its running really well an my drifting is getting better im much more comfortable with the car now. The car officially has a mustang T5 transmission an I love it. I finally snapped the input shaft on my m46.
I still have the garret gt2871r but now with a gt3071r compressor housing, a ebay turbo manifold is on now aswell. Car is now running a 3in 006 maf with lh2.2 chips at 18psi.

I just finished up with making some mounts for coilovers on the rear end, I used qa1 promo star coilovers single adjustable dampening. Car feels really good with them I love it so far.

On the front end I have nissan s14 coilovers they are still working out really well nice am comfortable on the streets an I turn a click up at the track an they really perform well. Next suspension modification is I'm making front adjustable control arms very soon already have my materials.

I just weighed the car an this is the results with me in the car. Definitely have some improvements to make on evening up some of the corners. Weigh distribution front is 54% rear 46% I would also like that to be a little closer to 50/50 maybe the cage will help when that happens? An tips on my weight distribution would be appreciated I have preload option on my coilovers but not knowledgable on how that stuff works

Full interior, in the trunk: sound insulation, an amp, sub. I'm sure battery is back there too already. You can also raise the front of the car/lower the rear.

BTW what injectors and MAF did you use on your dyno pull back in Sacramento? How about now with the -006? Was the chip necessary for the ECU to behave?

My rear is 2 inches higher than the front I will lower an see where my weight is then. Back at the dyno pull in sac I was on stock 2.2 with normal 2.2 007 maf. No chips weren't needed for 006 maf, bigger injectors were needed though it's a plug an okay upgrade to let your turbo breathe an get rid of the maf fuel cut
