Looking for temporary wheels

My daily driver broke down, my project 245 has questionable winter tires on it.

I'm looking for a short term and cheap tire solution

I've been on the phone trying to track down some used 185/75/14 but no luck

There are used wheel tire set ups in local kijijij ( Canadian Craigslist)

Are there any modern
Volvo wheels that are plug and play?

Or am I limited to just 240's

What other series Volvo wheels work?

ET 20 or 25 is stock for the RWD cars. FWD is ET 30+ and needs spacers.

Some Ford wheels are 5x108 as well but also have too big of an offset to fit without spacers. Hub sizes may be an issue too.

Note that there's a lot more 14" tire sizes which will fit if you're just looking for some used tires to replace the questionable winters. I run 195/70 r14 for example.

Don't worry about the offset, it's simpler than that. What white855T is telling you is that any RWD donor 2xx, 7xx, 9xx series car will have wheels that fit yours.

I could do these for $350
in Hamilton
could meet somewhere later in the week
Tires are a bit older no name type brand but seem pretty good
Wheels are cleaner than the pic indicates

$350 is a bit much for a temporary fix.
But I'll keep it on back burner in case I get really stuck

Any bone-yards in your area ?

for a Volvo 240/245 you can use 1985/70-14, 185/75-14, 195/70-14, 195/75-14. You can also use 15" wheels found on a 740, and run 195/65-15, 195/60-15, 205/70-15(if wheels can handle 205's for example).....and there are several other sizes that will fit, depending on the wheel size.

:-P
