When the ft engine was installed the oil cooler hoses were a problem. The top one from the cooler was to short. I don?t remember where a longer one came from and the fitting that connects to the hard lines was wrong. So I chop up a hose that I had duplicates of for the correct fitting using a hose clamp to attach it. All is good until Friday. Made a trip to town for lunch. Waking into the restaurant I noticed a trail of oil spots and they led to my car. Bought 2 quarts of oil at a convenience store dumped it in and headed home. Got about 2 miles on one very busy road and the oil light came on. Got onto a side street and a large oil lake was growing under it.engine compartment was dripping wet. Thought about calling someone to come get me so I could come back that evening with one of our roll backs and get it home. Decided to call local tow service. $100.00 later its home. Replaced the vertical oil cooler with one from a 960. All the hoses fit great. Temporary attached the cooler with zip ties. The hose split about 2 inches back from the clamp. Clean up took 3 hours.
