S/V/C Tire Sidewall Cracking

Ended up with another set of Michelins and a few moths in my wallet. This XC60 will be primary transport for wife and infant granddaughter for next 12 months so you can imagine what my priorities are in regards tire choice.

Yeah, I wonder if that was UV or car wash chem damage. Thanks for tip on 303. I have Griot's stuff which does UV protection so maybe I better start using it religiously.

Agreed the Michelin Defenders (old LTX M/S2s rebranded from LTX M/S3 = Defender) are solid and a good choice for a HT SUV tire.

the Volvos have Conti DWS06s though and are true HPAS tires for the moderate 4 season we have here. The Mich A/S3s do not do snow.
