Just another B234FT Conversion..

i have an errorcode 1-4-4 on port 6 of box A.. does anyone had tnis issue before? error occurs 3 secs after start and does not disappear until erasure. engine idles, and revs like a charm, unfortunately i connected 2 pins of box a while soldereing with shorting, dont know if the error was there before..

Indeed it was the wiring. Got myself some really cool 8 pin AMP superseal like connectors and got the harness redone and repaired the rearbumper.. typical problem.. Aluminium on Steel and got some cocaine unter the Damper :D

The car saw sunlight leaving the garage on its own feet under own power.. that was a nice moment :)

4 days ago i finished the interior just to find out i have a bad shortage which made the fuse 4 (brakes) blow off. all the interior is in pieces again to find that fault.. bummer..

I managed to get my hands on some KZK-plates which allowed me to drive the car around for 5 days. Tried to get T?V.. the never ending Story remains :(

I needed to replace the RetroTurbo Gearbox mount with an OEM one. Nothing against The RetroTurbo one, but it made from PU and it is like the gearbox is mounted flush with the body. Everythings shakes and rattles.. .. it is not *bear*able ;) when driving around but the load changes with that really feel great, almost motorsportlike.

The car really felt great, all those bugs and features from the last drive and in that youtube video are gone and i believe it was the toasted connectors in the wiringharness/plugs. So always good to redo the connectors ;)

What ist the problem now? I thougt you specially made everything now according to the T?V's whishes? :-(

Yeah, the GT? which my buddy recommended me through a bit of "Vitamin B" was unable to accomodate a Turbo from an V70 and also the brakes...

My next try is the "real" T?V when this does not Work either i will try a local tunershop specialized for engineswaps and road legality

so.. updates.. papers are on the way to get checked.. maybe i have T?V by next week :D

in the meantime i did some stuff, but not much...

My Luck was, my buddy wanted to help me out and he has one of these fancy active carpetcleaner hoovers... this thing is a beast :)
Also the Tornadogun really helps. the carpets look and smell as good as almost new :)

The first drive was an awesome experience... 10 years passed since i decided to sign off the car and it really was a struggle some times to keep this project going.

After 8 Hours of driving and hooning on friday, I was exhausted.. driving my XC90 is much more comfortable than i expected :D

Some Problems occured but me and my buddy had it checked.. one time the left Bolt of the panhard came loose and the axle wiggled around at cornering.. was a bit of a "crap! my car is broken" siituation.... lots of smoke and terrible sounds and adrenalin... yeah my left rear tyre now isnt labelled anymore on the inner edge hehe.. time for some semislicks eh?

Also we had to redo the timingbelt cause it made the spanner bearing get very hot due to too much preload. We untightened the spanner roll a bit and now everything is and stays fine. It had a veeery bad squeaky noise to every revolution of the timingbelt which made me think the rollerbearing is fried but it seems to be unharmed afterall.
