240 Isopropyl Alcohol to Degrease Before Painting?

I've used it, no real benefit over cheapo Duplicolor Grease and Wax remover unless you already have cases of it. I would let it dry for a while before spraying.

Straight 91% will evap pretty quick, so I dillute it 10% with distilled water so it doesnt evap befire I can wipe it down. So far, no fish eyes, no cobwebs when using rubbing alcohol.

Now, some wax and grease removers, I have had problems with cobwebs, like 3x on the same panel. So After reprepping, I used straight 99% rubbing alcohol, and everything went smooth.

Acetone is a dry solvent and won't mess with urethane.
 and dries without residue in about 10 seconds. I'd use that as a final wipe down. For degrease and stuff, I'd use a strong wax and grease remover. Something that doesn't evaporate so quick to get into deep deposits. I've used kleen strip prep all with good results.
