I use isopropyl alcohol at 91% proof in the garage but not yet for paint prep. Will it do a good job at degreasing, removing silcones, etc?

and dries without residue in about 10 seconds. I'd use that as a final wipe down. For degrease and stuff, I'd use a strong wax and grease remover. Something that doesn't evaporate so quick to get into deep deposits. I've used kleen strip prep all with good results.Acetone is a dry solvent and won't mess with urethane.
