Default 16V Pistons & Rods

Decided to get Yoshifab's Yoshifab's 158mm rods and B230 Piston set.

If you go with those pistons you'll need to get crank steered rods or have spacer bushings made for the wrist pin and pin boss.

The setup from yoshifab is pretty solid for the price, and there's no guess work.

There aren't any solid VW lifters that work in a 16v head to my knowledge.
The 16v VW hydraulic lifters are often used in the b234 head. Don't use the diesel ones unless you like metal fatigue and lifter failure.

I have those ebay rods paired with stock ft pistons in my 940. Runs great so far.
1990 765T; sent off
1989 744T; parted out
1985 245; The Battlewagon;+t, B21/AW71L, back at it again with the megasquirt; sold
1994 945; it's 16v+t again
2020 Mustang GT; DD
2007 Crown Vic; lifted, minispool, off road beater
