OH, you're all welcome. I didn't take the time to scan the journal, that would have been an almost endless endeavor. I just snapped each page with my digital camera.
We were gonna do a shot with the Journal on the beach, but I decided to leave that particular shot up to the coast dwellers.

Yesterday morning daytonAE86 and I cruised up north to meet up with JT for a journal handoff. It is now on my coffee table in Yellow Springs, OH. Ohio guys, I'm thinking maybe next weekend we can do a pizza meet or something and give everyone an opportunity to read the journal and sign. Dayton area guys, drop by if you wanna.

**I just posted this on the Journal journey specific thread on accident, so here it is again.

Never had talked to Matt (considering I never had my own Volvo until a couple years after his unfortunate passing) but I heard about this a while ago. Just today when I saw one of these Journal threads get bumped, I was reading up on him some more. Awesome what you guys are doing. A little Google sleuthing warranted me this. And maybe you guys have seen it already. But here.
If that counter on the first page is right.. I may have been only the second person to visit that page.

Hi everyone-

I'm deeply moved by the messages that have accumulated since the last time I've checked these boards. I am Tim Dionne, Matt's younger brother. We're coming up on 10 years since his tragic end. I'd really like to do something for my parents to honor his memory. I was hoping that I could get my hands on this journal. Some of the photos posted here are incredibly moving.

Pics from picking up the journal, August 13, 2014:

On the way, I stopped to look at this in the area above Chesapeake City.

Leah and friend (me and names...we don't get along so well) in Ali Baba, Newark DE.

Joe (old iron) reading the journal next to an amazingly clean 245. He will write in it soon, it was a bit much on short notice. This was near Milford DE.

Ikea/Home Depot Gathering, Sept. 13, 2014:
Paul Schuh broke down in his Travelall on the way to Ikea in College Park, it seemed to be a fuel pump.

My new clutch was about to be broken in. It was a right steep hill.
