oil pump

hey, i'm doing a b230ft 16v build and I noticed the oil pump that came with the engine had a lot of trash on it, and I decided its a good idea to replace it. I am a little confused with which pump I should be after. I intend on using this engine as a daily so it will be seeing 7200 rom once in a while but nothing to crazy. Also has anyone used acms high oil pressure pump?

For what it's worth, I used a Melling m181 pump in a b230 16v with an added oil feed to the rear of the head. ~8k rpm redline, and never any issues with oil pressure. This was used in a rally car, so it never went below 4k rpm unless it was idling.

The Melling pump (part number M181) from what I can see is just a normal pump.

The 144 is increased flow for late turbo engines

I disassembled both a Volvo 144 pump and a Melling M181 to see if the Melling pump is high volume or not and it is.
