Identifying Parking Break Cables 740

First post here folks, thanks for having me!

I just got a 1989 740 turbo, and am trying to identify a missing cable in my car at the parking brake assembly in the interior.

I have the left and right cables, but the upper middle one is missing and I am not sure what it is for or which part to get to connect it back. According to IPD they only have a left and right cable so would this be for something else? Perhaps ABS?

Appreciate any help, and thank you once again.

89 740 would be live axle - there are only two cables. The main one runs from the lever to the left rear brake - the secondary cable goes from the main cable union to the right brake.

If you look up the part schematic at Volvo Parts Online, you can see the layout

The left cable should be part #9140980. The parts catalog shows the updated cable uses an updated adjusting nut part #3516478.
