Last weekend I had a truck fling a rock and slightly crack my headlight. This is the second time that this has happened (the last time I had to replace the entire headlight). What protective film would be good to protect the glass?

I have Xpel on mine, been really happy with it, and it works. Took a rock on the freeway, HEARD it hit the left headlamp, figured it was a goner. Got to work, looked, saw a scuff where it hit, that was it. So far it's been on there for 6 years or so I think, no issues with it.

Is it a direct fit or would I need to cut it to fit?
