Not really a swap meet, but a show & shine.

As I mentioned in my previous post, don't expect much in the way of parts swapping going on.

Historically true, but it's always good to see the folks.

True that.

I'd kinda like to see us start doing TB meets in the Seattle area. Tried once in 2011 and it worked, but the second time was just neptune and I meeting up for a little bit before climbing back into our cars and doing what we each needed to accomplish that day.

I'm wondering about that, are there any small groups of TB members meeting or collaborating in Seattle?

We can make it happen. The Mountlake Terrace Transit Center was where Logan (neptune), Eric (poik), Tim (superchargerman?), and I got together in October 2011.

At the moment, it looks like Trevor+ has a meet scheduled on the 30th at his house between Kirkland and Kenmore. Maybe we could make that the first meet, then have another somewhere in September, etc. Try to do something monthly.

This sounds like it could be a kick. Quite a drive from PA, but what the heck; I'm headed to Eastern WA and the Okanagon on Sept 11-14.

Exclamation Can we kick this meet back into action?

Im new to the volvo world and would like to meet more people who like these monstrosities as much as i do.

Im available most anytime this october, lets find a day and western washington based location to meet up at. Seattle or south of it?

Lets get a list going of attendees to proposed meet, then decide a day and location (preferably with food)

If we were to get another get together, together, I'd say maybe Olympia would be a good spot, makes it nice on us Oregon folk. Then you Seattle folk can have a little drive as well. I'm up for a top floor parking garage meet(show & shine, swap meet, hi/bye, etc etc) followed by food/cruise/shens. I won't be able to make Sunday. Only if it was Saturday.

If people are willing to drive from oregon, we could meet halfway to olympia, does anyone know of any good spots with ample parking and food?

Yes, as far as I know it is still on. Typically a pretty low key event, in a very nice spot.

Sounds like a win, what time are people starting to show up?
