motors are very different cars...

The motors are completely different. The cars are virtualy idential before 95'. The motor in the 960 is the B6294 and is an alloy block 24 valve strait six. The 760 turbo uses a B230FT found in any 740 or 940 turbo. The 760 sedan has a different "squarer" trunk lid than the 960, but about everything else is the same between the cars. After 92 the 900 series got the side impact protection thing, those are the only sidnigicant differences I can think of.
