Default 17x8 wheels on 945 with 225/45 tires ???

Hi. I would like to have 17x8 wheels on my 945.The ET is 35 and i plan to use 25mm spacers. The tires I want to use are 225/45. Calculations says that these rimms will go from outer side 30mm more.I have lowering springs -40mm.Does anybody have done it before? Is it work?

Ive got 17x8, I believe with a 40mm offset and with 25mm spacers in the front, 32mm rear. 215/45 tires. Like 2.5 coils cut all around. Rubs a bit at full lock only, no other problems.

TME springs, 17x8 et53 with 35mm front spacers, 40mm rear, and 225/45 Conti DW's or Potenza 070's fit just fine with no scrubbing.

did you do any modifications to the front lower spring seat to keep them seated? how loose are your springs fully decompressed like while jacked up?
